I won't go into many details but I can tell you this... if you are used to hard work and worked really tough jobs without complaining, you can be a trucker. I have worked factory and warehouse jobs where you are threatened to get fired as part of the daily supervisor speech to all employees and worked overtime right when you think you are about to get off making $8 - $10 per hour in a cold/hot warehouse. Or outdoor jobs as well. If you can do the hard work then you can be a trucker.

I think a lot of people who complain about trucking are really sociable people who like to go out to bars every weekend and had office jobs most of their life. One of the guys who I talk to a lot on the phone who was in training with me has gone home about six times and I only gone home twice by choice and he complains about not being home enough lol. I do not drink and I always busted my ### and to me trucking is one of my easiest jobs and I love it. Yeah I had bad days but they were nothing compared to the some jobs I worked where I thought I was going to die of a heart attack or stroke due to the stress. Plus when I have a bad day in trucking I look forward to the next day being a lot better.
