really frame mods are allowed here. they pay attention on engine emissions, noise, weight and light.

from this year I have to switch to E-code lamps, really easy deal with Century class.

one way i find the ends of a crack is spray starting fluid on the area after you clean it well and watch the starting fluid evaporate. it will evaporate last where the crack is. brake cleaner works also.

In the US frames can be repaired by welding if the repair is made using procedures recommended by the manufacturer. No holes can be drilled in a flange of a frame.

    Best regards

Cracked, loose, broken or sagging are defects you can be written and or fined for.

OOS criteria is a bit more lenient.

Any frame siderail cracked, loose, broken or sagging which permits shiftingof the body onto moving parts or other condition indicating an imminent collapse of the frame or any broken frame member adversely affecting support of functional componants puts it OOS. A 1 1/2 inch or longer crack in the frame siderail web which is directed toward a bottom flange puts the vehicle oos. A crack extending from the frame siderail web around the radius and in to the bottom flange pts the vehicle oos. A one inch or longer crack in siderail bottom flange puts it oos.

    Best regards
