This company will not be upfront about how they do business.
They only offer lease purchase and you will pull loads for Prime inc. 1st thing they hold 3 weeks of pay. They'll advance you a 1000 dollars first 200 then 400 and 400 then on the 4th week you get regular pay. Truck payment 1275 pr week Liability insurance 260 pr week trailer rental 3 cents pr mile, plus physical damage insurance, bobtail. 10 cents pr mile for maintenance but it's not money you can touch basically like paying for warranty. Prepass deposit 250 (prepass does not require a deposit) You get 82% of the load and Prime loads do not pay enough to cover those high payments plus they want to deadhead you 200-500 miles to pick up. You pay for reefer fuel, Prime will not let you take a trailer home so they will give you a customer to drop the trailer and I've seen drivers go 150 miles out of their way to do this. Same thing when coming out of the house from home time.

Nice writeup, thanks. Is it L/P only, or do they have company drivers?
Concorde and GoneButNotForgotten Thank this. -
They only do lease purchase
Lonesome Thanks this. -
I drove every day for 80 days. Never took an advance. And never took a day off. I did recaps every week. I made under .10 cents per mile after expenses. My last month I got 1 paycheck for $146 and 3 paychecks for $0. How can a person work 30 days straight in a month?, and bring home $146?

What did your expense report show? Were the loads you were hauling greater or less than your cost per mile?
-
Prime loads were awesome. 2.60 a mile and up. They just take out money from your settlement like it’s their cookie jar. I asked for my logs so I can match it to my fuel receipts. Can’t get them. I asked for my fuel transactions. Can’t get them. All fuel deductions from the settlement are generic. No date, no location, just the amount and date of the settlement. I gross 5,400 in the week and get a 60 dollar Check. Because, of these generic deductions. Can’t match the transaction because, your original receipt doesn’t match the amount because, you get the prime inc. discount
-
Help me understand - what were your deductions for the week you earned $5,400 and only received a $60 check?
-
TMS accrued expenses-$110
Cargo insurance-$54
Ifta-$37
IRP-$150
Weekly liability insurance-$337
Lease completion incentive-$50
Occupational accident insurance-$45
Pre pass-$6
R&M program-$174
Tractor physical damage-$254
Tractor payment-$12
Wash interior deduction-$49
The rest is fuel, def and refer -
Tractor payment is $1240 not $12
-
It’s around $2500 a week in expenses. Then you run on fuel def and refer. You need to make $5,000 gross per week to collect a check. That way you can add in the fuel expenses every week
