This math is way out of whack here - even if you paid $1500 for tractor fuel you should still net $1400! Are all of the expenses you listed weekly?! What is TMS?
Why are you paying nearly $340 a week for Liability insurance. Aren't you running under the Lessor's authority? $50 for a lease completion incentive?!! $250 a week for tractor insurance. Wash interior deduction - and you're only putting $174 a week in your maintenance fund?!! Please clarify...

I have no idea what these deductions are. They give a generic explanation of deductions on the paycheck. They tell everyone that it’s because, of fuel that we don’t get a check. Not because, of the 2,500 a week fixed costs. Everything is ran under prime inc. , but, the side of the truck says Harper’s along with the permit book. I’m 34 years in trucking and have never worked 30 days straight and collected only $149 dollars. I feel scammed and taken advantage of.

They are taking $50 a week for a lease completion incentive? So are you supposed to get that money back if you complete the lease? What happens to that money if you don't complete the lease? That's just one of the many questions I'd ask before signing on the dotted line.

I quit. I only hauled 1 job for prime on my first check. That 1 job, from Springfield, mo to Lubbock, tx gave me a check higher than I ever got from Harper’s. Harper’s has something terribly wrong with their system.

 

I don’t know. I quit. I just went straight to work for prime. Cut out the middle man and now I have money getting deposited into my bank account again. Harper’s was just like a pimp and truck drivers are their ho’s

 

They sure did. Every Thursday. “You don’t hav a check coming tomorrow. Try harder next week”. Knowing #### well that they need that money more than the truck drivers, so the truck drivers aren’t getting any of that money.

 

Part of the problem is you have no idea where the money is going and you did not bother to demand what the charges were for. That is no way to run a business. Make sure you read the next contract thoroughly or pay a lawyer to do it for you. Get a list of all charge backs and what they are for. If they cannot give you a definitive answer...move on. Numbers don't lie so do the math for every load! Stop being a victim!
