I am beginning to wonder. Even when you contact someone they don't even bother to reply. Hummm ? Even when you see they have been online after you wrote to them ?

If I may add my comments......

Would I leave my current $48,000 job that I am happy with & sign on to another job that I know little about (or sign on to another job period) for an extra $4000 a year? No. If a company offered me 70,000... maybe I'd consider, but to change for average pay... I wouldnt even consider it.

Would I drive team for $52,000 per year? I wouldnt drive team for $100,000 a year. Actually, I wouldnt drive if I had to drive team.

My intent is not to be rude. But if most are like me, its gonna be a long time to find someone in your situation. Again, just my 2 cents... no offence intended. You just seemed aggravated because no one was interested or would reply etc. I cant speak for everyone, but just letting you know why you didnt hear from me.

Team driving is easier I think, but to each his own. You get more hometime with Team. I would like to do the 3 man team, but I cant even find a person to just do the standard team first. Oh well.

Three people gives you 210 hours on the 70, or 26.5 hours to use every day.

Two people is only 140, or 17.5 hours a day.

So in theory you can get at least another 300 miles per day on the truck.

Does it really make sense under most circumstances? Heck no. In some cases, yes. Running parts laredo to detroit, drop/hook on both ends, no waiting for the load - you can increase revenue to the truck by more than 40%.

I would be curious to read some stories from people who did meet up and try running a team. Some of the posts read like Craigslist personals and others read like they are written by serial killers in the making.

How do you figure on 17.5 hours for two drivers? 11 hour drive plus 11 hour drive is 22 hours of drive time in a day....

    70 hour clock.

If both drivers run their 11 out every day they will be out of hours after 6 days and need a restart.
