I would rather lease on to New Line Transport or Great American Lines. I never went with them as they had an answer for everything. When someone has an answer for everything it means bad news for me.

Yelp...my husband worked for them 1 yr and we almost lost our home...they say u get paid weekly...my foot..it might be 7-14 days always waiting, then when u do get paid u will be surprised what u get.they tell u what u get for a load and they short u just about every time...they ripped us off around $5000.00 in a yr. The only reason we stayed that long is he had to drive otr for a yr to start with another company. Don't bother with them they are rip offs..promise u

I've pulled for them as an employee a few years ago. My boss at the time used them as a last resort, when the rest of his customers had nothing going. Not leased on, just use them as a broker.

I'll say that they are highly variable by the office. The office that I dealt with was in Maine, they were okay. Friendly enough, fairly honest, some loads paid okay, others my boss refused with profanity. Other offices......They'd make me mad enough to go on a baby punching spree. The only office other than Maine that seemed decent was Chambersburg PA.

When I got my own authority & truck going, I called the Maine office to get set up (same plan as my previous employer- as a last resort for finding loads) but I haven't sent the paperwork in. They were pushing for me to run for them full time, even though I have my own authority. The big sales pitch was that they pay every week, which is not a service that I accept at the cost of a low rate right now...honestly I'd be cagey about committing to them. The PITA factor on a lot of their loads were high, I've been able to set up directly with a number of their customers anyway.

My previous employer had no issue with them paying on time (not that he mentioned to me anyway), just that their loads didn't pay the rate he wanted to make a regular habit out of.

Yep I have.you will get 90% broker freight they have very few inhouse accounts and they say 85 % of the freight but it's actually 85.999 % might as well say 86%. Plus they chop of the top of the freight and the way that they get away is in the lease agreement that you will sign states that you will get paid 85% OF THE ADJUSTED GROSS RATE of the line haul if you take your time there are better options out there. They say no force dispatch but the moment you disagree with your dispatcher you will go to the back of the list.
