Has anyone reported an ex/employer 4 DOT/HOS/Emissions violation?

Yawn. There might be a post somewhere for which that makes sense as a response but it isn't mine.
Yes, people tend to prefer benefiting from work rather than not benefiting from it.
I did not 'make more money' from having my logs edited. At no time did I express shock. Trucking is a shady business.

Yes I drove on edited logs. The alternative would have been to abandon the truck in Oklahoma or something and call a cab the first time she edited them.
Of course I would be telling on myself. Not a problem.

I think you missed the point. I did not express any surprise that it happened...quite the opposite....I expressed surprise that it doesn't happen more often. I'm not asking for moral guidance or sympathy or life advice. I asked if anyone has reported a company for DOT/HOS/Emissions violations, and what results if any they had by doing so.. Chinatown and a couple other people actually addressed that so thanks to those folks.

I can't speak for other people but I have worked for 1099 companies because I only wanted/needed to work about 6 months out of every 18 months, and 'benefits' besides straight pay are of no benefit to me.

LoL. Have someone read and explain the section you quoted. I didn't ask whether I should work for a 1099. I didn't ask anybody to 'take my side'. I couldn't care less whose side you're on. That obviously irks you. What I wanted to hear was information regarding my specific question, and several people DID tell me what I wanted to hear, and I thanked them for it.
