Has anyone used pls logistics? Thoughts?

I would avoid them based in my experience with their "quick pay." They charge what is a 1 day quick pay percentage and then pay two weeks later. I've literally hauled 6 loads (and been paid for them all) before they sent me their payment and still taking 5%.

 

I looked at their ratecon once and it had some wild terms on it concerning liability and claims. Walked away.

 

The crazy thing about them was they had some goofy accounting.

Any detention or anything else was something hard to get and they broke it down really weird on the billing. Like it was really hard to follow unless you were exactly on top of what they owed you.

So they would pay you for the load but there'd be no information anywhere about detention. Then that detention somehow was paid separately and you had a separate office somewhere to deal with or something weird like that, it was complicated.

I will say that once I understood how their system worked it worked out okay, but I seem to recall I still ended up on the phone with them an awful lot for what they owed me with detention.

I wasn't concerned about them paying me they always paid me. Once I understood their system I was okay but you really really have to understand exactly how to bill them and exactly how to follow up on that.

 

I've used them once and they did pay but they took their time about it. Truckstop shows them at 38 days average but they perpetually have claims against them. Not a business I'd use unless you had no other reasonable choice.
