Stopped there all the time when it was the old Eastgate truckstop, then they built the new fancy HatSix. Started out good, now it seems it's just a drop yard for all the oil guys. Dropped trailers and fellas that live there and use it for parkin'. Gettin fairly pricey as well, although they now have these new fancy towel heaters in the shower. Gotta pay for them somehow I guess.

I was just there I think week before last. I didn't see hardly any sand cans or frack trucks there--then again I also got there at 1630 and parking was wide open. (I do like that they have extra-wide parking spots there, too.) That said, I also wouldn't doubt the same cans use it as an extra drop yard--but if it ever gets as bad as the TA on the east side of Wheeling WV, that's gonna be a wrap on that.
There's all kinds of stuff on the inside--but yeah, I noticed those prices were really kinda "up there". I don't know if that's the business itself or Wyoming in general--but I do know that left with a choice to stop there or the PFJ three miles further up 25, I'm choosing Hat Six seventeen times out of seventeen.Tug Toy Thanks this. -
Nothing wrong with the flying j up there. Showers and a dozen restaurants all around you.
