At the house for a nice 4 day weekend. Finally some rest, and out of the truck for a bit. I will call Tuesday morning and put me on the load board. If the weather cooperates this weekend, I'm gonna be a BBQing fool. Y'all have a great weekend. Stay safe. Bazzinga!

 

Alright. So, I called my FM this morning at 0800 to be put on the board. Waited. Called again. Waited. Called again. Waited. Finally at 1300 I get dispatched to Laurinburg to pick up a preload, at 2200 hrs. So, I arrive at the plant one hour early. I was told to come back around 2300. So I went back in at 2300. Was told check back tomorrow after 0700.Really? So, I drove approx 200 miles today. This will be the only load I have this week, for a total of around 1400 miles. Really? I'm supposed to live on this? Same story, different day.

 

Yup. And some of us struggle. I wonder why? Here it is, 0730, and my load still isn't ready. My low miles are not my doing. I've asked my FM, many times, and was told I'm not doing anything wrong. So I said," OK, if the problem is not me, then it has to be you." Hmmm. This will be my only load this week, and if they don't hurry I won't be able to make it to Montreal in time to deliver this week! Again, NOT MY DOING!

 

FYI, I'm not dogging Maverick. I'm just trying to be honest with my experience here.
