You could've stopped a little sooner at Brintle's as well. It is an authorized fuel stop so you even could've fueled and gotten a shower.

Yeah man, it's cool. I trained out in Laurinburg and was taught to use bungees by my trainer from Texas. My best bud is in the glass division and he uses bungees too. I've also even been given new boxes of bungees at some of our shipping yards in Wichita Falls, Spring Hill, Carlisle and Geneva. Like I said, this is the first I'm hearing about it.

Your right about that. My 1st choice for a 10 hour break is almost always a rest area. Thats my favorite spot, followed by a shopping center, then a truck stop. I don't always get what I want though. But your right. Ext 100 off I77 I believe?

They are auto-shifters. You can drive in auto or manual (myself, and MANY others drive them in manual for better mpgs)

Well I'm down for my 10 at the Hook. Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I'm working my way to south Boston for a Monday am delivery. Its my first time going into the north east, and all I've ever heard is bad things. So, yeah, I'm just a touch nervous about it. I'm sure I'll be fine. I wanna try to find somewhere to buy groceries this weekend, not Walmart! Hopefully if it all works out, I'll be cooking BBQ on Sunday, to eat on the upcoming week. I'll keep you posted on that. Guys be safe. Stay in the "right" lane.

What's wrong with grocery shopping at Wal-Mart? Their Great Value brand stuff is generally identical to name brands while be quite a bit cheaper. It's an easy way to save some money.

Well OK, #1- Walmart has forced a lot of small mom and pop stores out of business because they couldn't compete with the prices. #2- Walmart produce and meat are HORRIBLE! My opinion. I like Walmart for non food items, but I prefer to buy my food from a grocery store. Today I shopped at a great grocery store in Carlisle, right across the street from Walmart. I will definitely remember this store. But, to each his own.

sewerman and old time Thank this.
