I liked night shift. It was hard sleeping during he day though. One weird thing for me was after I’d wake up in the middle of the day I’d get anxiety that the company was calling me over and over and I did something wrong. Never happened but it was weird.

Was talking to my co-workers the other day and mentioned the job wish I hadn't left , was working nights hauling hog fuel between two of the local mills. Only time I ever heard from my boss is if there was some important information he needed to relay to me, or if I had to relay some to him. No micromanagement, no nonsense. Overall was a very relaxing job.
But, I started to catch a lot of wife aggro over working nights six days a week. When a previous employer (wrench turning job) called me and asked me to "please come back, we'll pay you more", in order to keep a happy home life I did so.Y2K, Odin's Rabid Dog and Rugerfan Thank this. -
That’s one great thing about nights working for Bettendorf was that no one is in the office at night. Very peaceful job.

I sometimes take a bit of melatonin, but that's all I use. I worked a lot of night shift in my younger years, so I suppose I'm used to it.
