If you are an experienced flatbedder and have hauled these before, you know what’s needed. Why in the world would you even entertain what the broker is saying. As long as you know you have what’s needed then screw em.

How do I stop a broker from calling me? When they did, I talked to them, if the money was there, I’d have gone and picked up what I would have needed, but for the money they offered, I’d declined, and when I mentioned the dunnage, they tried to tell me it wasn’t needed, I, in no way enterthem

I usually carry 8’ timbers that can double for cribbing under lumber, steel, or used with my coil racks. Flatbed without dunnage is like a toilet with no toilet paper…., -
Lying isnt in my nature, But i had planned on getting new dunnage before heading out, and ya, My home time is important to me! I make plenty of money, and dont need to runny 24/7/365 maybe some haul cheap, and have to stay out all year long! Sorry, i dint know many truck driver just prefer to live on the road all year and never go home, but if spending 4 days at home seem excessive to you? I find it rather acceptable, Im done!
