The cool can haulers do it Chicago style by driving 50 mph in the center lane with that little yellow strobe taped to the mirror ....and also never ever wash the truck ....the worse it looks the better .
Chrome to a can hauler is a bane unless it is rusty or bashed to hell .
Add ons are 10 mismatched tires and rusty wheels and exhaust that is one speed bump from falling off .

First off hauling containers sucks. There is very little to do. Just buy a safety vest. Watch out for pot holes at the rail yard. Do your best on have an available chassis all the time
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
The ironic part is, those guys doing 50 are actually following the law. (Not the middle Lane part) If you see the yellow lights, they're running on an overweight permit and it requires driving 5 mph under three posted speed limit. I did overweight grain. I would piss of guys all the time driving 55 on 80 coming back from Rochelle or Anawon. At 95-98,000 it's really easy to blow a tire during summer and we had to buy our own blowouts.

That's why I had a backpack full of lights. I would take them off bad order chassis. Years later, I still have the backpack full of lights, you just never know when you'll need a light.

Seen a FLD that was nice and clean Friday. Guy had the truck looking good. Other then the beat and nasty cab behind it.
