I would add, drive the set like a tanker, smooth and steady and you'll be fine. A steady hand on the steering wheel does wonders. I don't even notice that I'm hauling a set. Now I will add, that the ruts in the road or the joints between lanes can get your attention

Just hope your tractor has a pintle hook, it makes life MUCH easier. While I am getting better at backing the dolly attached to the lead I'm still much faster moving it with the tractor

 

really pj.doubles aren't any big deal. you'll be fine.the acclimation period for you will be less than< a day! well the parking in a truck stop will be a bit cumbersome initially but a couple tries/attempts and you'll be whipping them into spaces quickly and evenly enough-for a set of doubles.

70 mph is a great cruising speed for any truck,doubles inclusive.high winds? not so much. common sense forum friend.common sense. you exhibit just that so you'll be fine-
