Dry bulk or liquid?? Either way should be better than hauling grain to the mill

Liquid, ammonia, propane, gas, alcohol. Hopefully I'll be under a bottle more so than anything else. I've done dry bulk in the past hauling cement that didn't pan out like I had hoped but it wasn't exactly a great year to be doing it I guess. I got sent home yesterday after orientation have some work to do to the truck a little frustrating but hey I guess it's only money can't take it with me so might as well spend it.

I suppose if they get the truck done today I can head back out there tomorrow and see if it gets a clean bill of health. If it does I suppose I can put the PTO on get the lines made and get rolling. Least that's my hope anyway. Just have to see what happens. On the bright side I know exactly what the truck weighs now lol. Dropped it on the scale at the elevator Monday and she was 19160 driver off with 1/4 tank in the driver and the reserve in the passenger. I didn't think that was too bad for having a C16, 2050 drive lines, and being a long hood pete. Could be worse I suppose.

I keep reading all this gab about frac sand picking up but I ain't got any calls to go haul frac down to Blackwell. I'm sure the rate on it ain't any better than anything else. I read an article here a couple weeks ago about kansas possibly upping the weight limit to 90,000 and listened to everybody talk about how great it would be and all I could think was as if we aren't already hauling more for less now we're all going to go broke because my kansas rates were always better than my nebraksa rates.

I'm sure that will jack up our heavy highway just a little bit higher and yes I'm sure most in the area are already hitting right at or close we to that 90k mark good luck with the new adventure

From what I've seen the Ok equipment is really nice everything for the most part at Aurora is still being brought up to Acord standards but it's also all old Iowa tank lines equipment as well. We'll see how it goes I guess. Just need the lines for the wet kit which should be done tomorrow and hopefully tomorrow night I'll be loaded and rolling. Least that's the hope and goal anyway.

It's taken about a month from the time I filled out the app to where I am now. But oh well least everything has been gone through with a fine tooth comb.
