Hauling Hay into Texas

    That's still a decent rate as long as the load and unload times are reasonable.

    I'm still trying to get into a truck and a stepdeck :biggrin_25511:

    The times are pretty decent most of the time - just like the fact the everybody is friendly and will usually feed you or let you run in the house and grab a quick shower if you need...at least on the shipping end.

    If you end up w/ a step deck let me know...plenty of these hay people are also trying to move round bails or step deck load of square bails or big squares and I've told them all to be prepared for $3.00 + per mile for that kind of service.

    Well you can go to www.adenbrookfarms.com for more photos of hay haulers - It's a hay company out of NY and this is a photo of one of there trucks. So I am pretty sure it's a NY plated truck but I wouldnt doubt it that some of the hay haulers that do the SD - CA runs are set up this way as well.

    I've done 3 high on a double drop trailer. I've loaded 81 large squares 3x3x8.
    it isn't unloadin thats hard 3 high Its gettin them up there an stayin there. Unstrap and push they'll fall

    That is my bosses truck. You are correct we are a new york company and we haul only hay amd straw.
