@x1Heavy ... YOUR PAGER is going off.. where ya be?!?!?! HURRY. I know NOTHING about meds, but that I can't take any, and I re'test for my MedCard in 2 months. I can tell these guys about 6122 and 3257 (HOT but not haz / asphalt. all i've got~!!)

 

Ok I was out picking up a meal. Just tuned in.

I'll start writing in a sec. be a couple of minutes while I condense what i know of medicine hauling. It's fairly simple and straight forward with several important problems you need to know about.

In short. My Medicine lessons are these.

McKesson in Memphis. Distribution Main for mid states other than East Coast, that is not to say that they wont ship all the way east. They are billions in pills, fluids, kits, hospital stuff everything in there. These are secured warehouses that load trailers and set them out for pickup. You pick up bills under your name somewhere else. I wont disclose that. It is not that far. It is not a big secret in Memphis itself full of Drug Predators and Dealers with guns etc. You drive plain trucks with bare markings.

Thats one.

These loads are usually overnight. Say Memphis to Detroit sunrise next morning. About up to and over a million dollars in value if your company finds that you are capable of bearing that high dollar stuff. It is not a barrier because it is common to have maybe two pallets in the nose or a completely stuffed trailer when necessary. (More on that in sec)

Your tractor is tracked. Qualcomm usually. When you hook to Trailer, you find that it contains it's own net for qualcomm to track THAT too. Set the reefer to 65 and set the trailer into trace tracking, check seal, number PTI etc.

When you are ready to roll out, you need full tanks, empty bladder, food, drinks etc to take care of you into the night, you are not to be stopping for a #### thing for at least 300 miles. Or more better all the way. You cannot be tired, sleepy looking like prey or victim because they will stick a gun in your ear. How much do you value life? Far less than the predator values the jackpot in that box. You have no value.

(Concealed Carry Licensing is a seperate topic. I am one but prefer to keep things VERY SIMPLE here.)

You will get to detriot in the morning, pull in the south distribution into the dock they are waiting for you.

STAY in the truck. You do nothing. But pass bills of lading out take it back from them signed etc.

Stay in the DOCK, they are loading paper cardboard boxes bales for Memphis.

YOU will be told bye bye thank you we appreciate you etc and sent on your way to memphis asap.

This will be the time to take it where you now to Memphis in a position that your rig is 100% fixed, fuel full, fed, fluids, dressed ready for your next trailer waiting in a special bill spot with your name on it. Maybe detriot again maybe somewhere else.

9-11 A terrible day. We sit near the Detriot Destribution for a few hours until the attacks calmed down. Detriot reloaded us to the MAX full box barely closed doors and straight to Linfield Connecticult for NYC attack victims full of everything for them. Who knows what value that box had that day I don't know and don't want to know. Flatbed jet engines are 25 million. But I dont count that high.

Wife was with me team driver. That was what we were and that is what made it so easy to do Detriot from Memphis constantly.

Now.

One company called FFE I believe has a Plasma (Blood product very very very very valuable, persihable etc) Coast to Coast team. You are out of say LA and into Avenel NJ in about 51 hours give or take. The two of you drop hook and back to LA you go in another 51 hours. That is actual hours between you two driving give or take. You will burn your driving logs in 5 or 6 days doing this, 34 hours later back out you go.

I don't know if any of our loads were plasma with FFE, but I can tell you that whatever was in it has to be there now. IF you were 10 minutes late as a team, then you will need to answer to dispatch.

Its all there. Drop hook and go. Solo or team. The money takes care of itself. Its routine, none of the BS in say a grocery warehoues full of lumper etc. none of that crap. You are a very small group of truckers doing this and anything that costs time, money or problems is not tolerated or present in this work.

^^^^^ BIGGER than HVL's imho.. yeah? I mean it IS but then some. With the craziness and the opioid crisis and J&J getting sued for BILLIONS... i WOULDN'T haul Rx's for 200k a year, personally. It's a floating crime scene waiting to happen.

It's ok.

Its a strange situation. Haul medicines and then handed a cup full of them.

Then the opoid crisis came along. It was not too bad until China created Fentyanal that is not regulated over there you could at one time get it like you get soda pop. They ship it here in the mails and boom 400K dead they say.

The real problem is that pain patients feel a tolerance come on, in pain again and ask for more. Then told thats all they get (90 a month for medicare only) and no more than a certain amount and MME daily. 50 here in Arkansas, surgical pain etc would be 80 for example and cancer is 120 to beyond 300. Hospice takes care of that with some very special narcotics, but those still wont take care of your pain.

Ive had a range of medicines. There are about 16 available to my insurance. Norcos through to Oxys and Fent etc. (Patches) Turned out I was allergic and lost breathing to Fent patches, threw that out. on record as a allergy and risk medicine among other problems. (Too bad....) then the norcos and oxy which are synthetic medicines Ive took for too many years were stopped pernamently also on record as a allergen.

That leaves 4 medicines. Demerol, Morphine, Diliaduad, Hydromorphine. (They do not give out dila, hydro outside of hospitals and CDC has managed to stop hospitals from giving Demerol. That leaves Morhphine. An old slow medicine. Which makes it easy not to take them. The ow goes away in a hour and it's 5 days before you get the ow back enough to need another. This is the basis of my leaving pain management. I'll be taking one in 4 days. Otherwise the body has achieved in my mind a point where pain is irrelevant. (Explain later)

There is a percentage of pain patients who are cut off because they abuse it early, run out in 2 weeks or half that a whole months supply. Then they have withdrawals. Sometimes the withdrawals kill them. Sometimes they end up in ER trying to make up a ow story to get a pain shot. Those doctors know BS when they see it. And dont give it. OR get arrested buying illegal "Cheap" drugs.

The other part of is the availible CBD oils and legal pot. For medicine. CBD Oil without THC is legal. Like coffee. But medical pot in Arkansas requires a card. They opened several dispensaries 5 weeks ago for the first time and already sold 7 million in Pot.

The other problem with Pot cards here is you lose your weapons... You are also branded so you cannot buy weapons. You will fail a background.

All of this medical stuff is NICE aint it? no.

Medicare costs about 225 a month in premiums for basic and D, then C is another 100 or two cash out of your pocket. Call it 500.

Medicine could be 100. OR 1000. CASH please. Credit card is another 5% charge. OR cheap as 30.

Your pain doctor visit is around 150.00 You get scripts should you pass.

When you are tested for drugs in a cup it's 250.00 billable. Twice a year they give you a very special urine panel that covers literally EVERYTHING down to the last drop and the cells that make up that drop and whats in them.

870.00 billable.

Each month.

IF you got the money they got the time.

Back to me. I am slowing down to about 3 doses a week when necessary. Sometimes two. This is down from 5 aday last month. 3 a day this month. That's over. I am right now on 1 a week on a carefully selected and planned workday.

I pay my driver gas. thats 40 a month. Cash. I also dump money into the vehicle, new tires? Sure. 300. Fix a engine throttle control? 1400. fix the front end? sure bill me.

|That is my part of making sure my driver does not suffer for hauling me to the pain center for a pee test and scrips with a pill inside of me for compliance.

Eventually that must stop. For that to happen I am facing three surgeries. Two on heart area one else where.

Fix fix fix fix fix. Just like spare parts that sometimes get installed into my body.

6 million dollar man? Certainly. But here is this last sentance and a great joy.

"What is your pain level?"

Zero.

We fix the rest of the stuff and if successfull then there are no more doctors except two to check up on me now and then for trucking.

One of the few who are being fixed by what I consider to be the very best in medicine.

And where am I going to go when I get back out?

McKesson.

Until.....

The Pot industry negatates and buries the entire Narcotic practice in Medicine. All of that will go away except for Hospice. McKesson and 4 other billions of dollars businesses will go out of business.

 

^^^ and NOW they are trying to make Kratom illegal in the states...some can't even get it shipped; Ohio is borderline. Some companies won't others will. My nephew takes it for his ADHD which he is on disability for. He's only 38. Sad state we are in. Thanks again.
