I was in Panama ( Central America ) in a rental car at 2 am and stopped at an intersection red light and it was very dark. As I was sitting there a guy ran up to my car with something in his hand and started shooting window cleaner all over the windshield. I gave him a US one dollar bill and took off.
I was there working as a civilian for the military and when I arrived they gave me a city map with the bad areas and intersections circled in red. The whole map was covered with red circles , lol

Spent too much time in South Central LA, A gun would probably get you shot, I would sleep parked on the street there.

South Saint Louis back in the early 80s was scarey.

Alligator Alley (back when it was just a deserted 2-lane at night) AKA I-75 where it travels east and west from the south Florida coasts through the heart of the Everglades.....Grew up hunting and fishing the 'Glades, so was familiar with all the animals. lacaster, va I had a load of frozen dairy deli for sams club around 1am on 219 a line with 1 leg with a nee bent in the middle of the leg that was on 219 by around the weight station north of lanchaster before a cliff in the median curve. my head lights reflected on it and it disappeared into the cliff
