Have a ?about MC

    First off i have my own MC & all .I have a company that wants me to lease on with them .How do i put my MC and stuff on hold, to drive for them under their mc and irp Or is this even possible with out losing my stuff.just in case it dont work out for some strange reason..The moneys is real good and they can keep me hoppin on good loads that pay well .I have a friend that is leased to them and doing real well for a yr now .Always pay on time and very good folks to work for .

    im actually going to ask my agent tomorrow also about this .

    i myself can keep ,loaded ,but it up and down .mostly up side .id like to have a fill in for the down side of loads i cant get.

    There's two ways to suspend your authority.

    Voluntary revocation- can be done online, you'll need the PIN# FMCSA gave you.

    Involuntary revocation- Just cancel your insurance, FMCSA will revoke your authority in about 30 days.

    Either way, It'll cost you $80 (?) to reinstate it at some future date, if you decide to go back.

    just let it go involuntary.....many times if you pull it ...it will trigger an audit
