I second fuel but good luck getting in the door. In my AO I'm working at a construction job that requires a CDL and I'm running trucks with ripped sidewalls in the tires and not even working headlights. Granted it's a small job market, I've applied to about 70 jobs on indeed. Everything that isn't OTR. Even food service places won't call back. And I had 3 years steady at my last job.
It might just be my area but it is absolutely awful out there driver. Fuel is easy work from what I've seen. I've had reefer trailer doors fight me more than 2" hoses I used in food grade tanker.
Don't know how old you are but if you can run food service for a year you can at least show that you're a hard worker and have decent driving skills. Maybe the market will turn by then and the pay isn't terrible. It's a meat grinder though. If you're a 300lb trucker or over about 40-50 don't waste your time. You'll probably get injured before your insurance even kicks in.
Also, just a heads up, fuel rarely pays as awesome as everyone says it does. Some companies pay good, most pay mediocre.

Fuel in Houston. You can go talk to the supervisor at Pilot. He hangs around the Pilot at 225 and Red Bluff early morning hours. In case one driver needs help. Seems he always has inexperienced guys to train. Always jobs. Easy. Always hauling the same thing. Pay by the hour. Just under $100K without any overtime. Home everyday.
