I run local/regional deliveries for a building supplies and specialties company. Started out in a 16' flatbed and now run our 26' non-CDL box truck full time. I run local deliveries for our office here, and also deliveries for our sales office in Virginia. Gives me a good mixture of interstate and local running, usually averaging around 600-800 miles per week. Started last year at 19, just recently turned 20. It's out there you've just gotta keep your eyes open as these positions fill super quick, at least around here. Insurance is tight and requires that I maintain my accident and ticket free record or i'll likely be yanked though.

Thanks I agree with all you said about keeping records clean. My CDL is my livelihood which I'm sure it is for most. I am definitely looking in all directions!
