    Having trouble finding a CPA. They mostly tell me they are inexperienced in trucking matters and what compliance etc we should be doing.
    What should I look for in a CPA?

    Contact your state trucking association if you have one. They should have a list of CPAs that understand trucks.
    Contacting OOIDA might be good idea too.

    Ask any accountant how much is the per diem for owner operators. If they do not know, do not use them. Kevin Rutherford recommends a company that can receive your trip reports electronically. Beware of not saving 10% for taxes. Common problem for new owner operators.
