Having trouble getting a mentor

It isn't that I disagree with what you are saying, but you heading makes it seem like Swift has not offered you a mentor which is incorrect.

 

My babys mom is black and my son is half black. But I look like a regular cracker boy haha! I'd love to get that guy as my mentor. Fun stuff...

I myself waited for a week and up until yesterday before I even heard any thing back from swift. Scratch that, before I got on the #### phone and contacted somebody for information. I was given a phone number and told to contact my mentor because he probably wouldn't contact me. I left I very polite and detailed message requesting a call back and got nothing as of this posting. Sounds like I got me a winner!

But on a serious note; racial slurs in the workplace should be automatic grounds for termination. and that goes for all slurs directed at all individuals, regardless of what color their skin is. I think all too often we pretend that certain racial or ethnic groups cannot be racist or prejudice because of our own prejudices. I've always contended that those who speak the loudest in favor of racial guilt or one sided bigotry are indeed bigots themselves...

 

Swift reimburses the mentor for the hotel stay up to 3 day. I THINK the limit is $180, but don't quote me on that. That expense doesn't come out of your pocket.

 

I wonder if they also reimburse a L/O

 

I'm pretty sure they should, that .05 a mile they charge you guys for having the student on the truck should more than cover that expense. Lol
