Did it cost you 86.50 for the TSA Fingerprinting? And from what I was told there is only two locations in Montana that can perform this Top Secret Event!! LOL Gotta love how they like to sock it to the working guy huh? SMH

 

I was told that having a passport makes in faster as well, since you're already a known entity.

 

Yes it was 80 something to get the fingerprints and crap done. There’s only one place in MT to get it done I think. I went to Idaho Falls which was actually closer than driving to Billings for me to do it. Can’t understand why the fingerprinting has to be redone every 5 years. When it is redone, why can’t we just go to the closest cop shop that does fingerprints? The government is so screwed up and backwards, yet we have to go along with their nonsense just to keep our jobs. It’s madness.

 

Passport, twic, security clearance, or have bought guns through an ffl, your already in the system so it does help because they all use fbi background checks

 

I just paid my $83 and got fingerprinted today in Great Falls. For me, living in Kalispell/Columbia Falls, Great Falls was about 12 miles closer than Spokane.

 

I've been fingerprinted and BG checked a few times for CCW. I hope that speeds it up.

Florida is quick and simple. Hazmat is done at “dmv”. They mail your license in 2 weeks or less. I already had a Twic card and passport, that may have sped things up. But they do the fingerprinting there. 1 stop shop
