    Actually I got the joke and my reply was a joke in response to your joke. You must have taken my joke too personal. I guess I should have used a smiley face but I hate those things. They are a bad solution to a major problem of conveying inflection in writing.

    Surely someone could come up with something better.

    i cant go to canada because of dui's and drug possesion in the 80's
    but i have hazmat and a twic card
    go figure

    Can't you get a "Minister's Permit"?


    Edited to add> Actually an "Approval of Rehabilitation" would be better.

    So what's the endorsement cost in your state.Here in Iowa it's $86.50.I finally took the test today and passed,only missed 2,along with getting my license renewed.Was going to wait till saturday,but my company keeps everything current.But im glad its over and done with the intense studying.Anyway after taking the test had to get a money order because the fingerprint place dont accept debit cards.Oh had to cll the dept of transportation in Desmoines first to do an application.So when the results come back which they say in a week.I take that to the dmv along with my birth certificate and im good for 5 yrs.

    Last I heard it's $80 for the endorsement but that doesn't include the test $25 or the fingerprint/background check I think they said $120 for that. I could be wrong about the endorsement. It might be $60. But still I am going to go for a TWIC at the same time so maybe I can do both for the price of one background check. If not it's $129 for the TWIC. Then I am doing the OSHA10 certification and H2S certification. Probably around $450 total by the time I am through but I won't have anything to hold me back from getting any oilfield job or intermodal.
