Hazmat Certification

    Good afternoon, I have license with HM endorsement, but a broker ask me for Hazmat certification, somebody know where I can get it as Onewr Operator?
    Thanks for any info and help.

    Hazmat certs are at the company level ( ins. and training level )

    Probably wondering if your insurance covers it. Having the endorsement on your license isn't the same as having proper insurance coverage.

    The responsibilities for transporting HM go far beyond having an HM endorsement.

    You should have on file job specific training/HM training records renewed after 3 years.

    Insurance needs to be 'in the know'

    and the FCMSA needs to know by obtaining the HM certification every year by saying your are still trained and insured and still transporting HM.

    That's just for entry level kinda stuff.

    Going into the real deadly and nasty means more insurance AND an additional premissive certification from the FCMSA.

    You need to seek some HM training.
