Absolutely
It's good to become familiar with at least the basic procedural rules (for the parts you can see, at least), so you are aware if/when the sample taker or testing company screws up.
Also, if you can, find out what lab the testing organization is using - there is a very limited number of DOT certified labs, and if they use a different one, all results are void.
