I believe you have to wait 30 days for try #4. It's the same as the first 3. Don't let it intimidate you.

I could retake it much as I wanted just got to pay every day

Can't answer your question, but I failed mine the first time also. I knew the hazmat chapter almost word for word, but 95 percent of the test was on the general knowledge chapter, now I know you wouldn't think that would be a problem, but it had been like six years since I took that test, and it threw me way off. I guess it's because there is usually a couple answer that could be right, but there looking for the one that's in the book.

Don't you have to re-take the Hazmat test when you re-new your license to keep the Hazmat endorsement?
-
Yes, you do. -
Rookie Trucker : I, took the Free test on this forum for a a few weeks and i would take the answers i got wrong and look them up in the Motor Vehicles hand book then take the test again ,, until i was getting almost none wrong ,, that really helped me Big Time ! ,, use the Free test, its at the top of the page ,, CDL Practice Test ,,,, Good luck and be safe !!

passed it today doing this also, cost 10 bucks for 3 tries , actual test was easier than practice exam's in my opinion. Questions were almost the same and there are 3 possible answers on the test instead of the four there are on the " practice test " I highly reccommend doing the practice tests until you understand the answers.I-80Trucker Thanks this.
