Should I get hazmat insurance to haul flatbed freight?

If the "upcharge" is minimal yes, if not no. In all my years I think I have only hauled a handful of haz-mat deck loads.

    yotaman Thanks this.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question thanks

I'm pretty sure the minimum insurance for a HM carrier is 5 million, as well as all the compliance issues. Do you have a HM customer, if not, why in the world would you be a HM carrier?

    Mommas_money_maker and yotaman Thank this.
