So, how many of you guys pulling reefers are setup for hazmat as well. I am getting insurance quotes and was wondering if I should go ahead and do hazmat so I am able to haul it or not worry with it right now.

Haz insurance is a lot more expensive and not worth having unless it's your daily income.

As a single truck owner op under your own authority, it won't be worth it. Not just the insurance but the rest of the compliance things you will need to do would be far to burdensome on a small operatation.

A lot of states have thier own hazmat requirements and permits.
