Must be one of those crap places where you're not allowed in the dock. Otherwise, if no notes on the BOL, I'd grab a pallet jack and remove their #### from my trailer myself.
I have little patience for stupid. -
From what I have been told by various truck drivers and warehouse people, UNION places absolutely FORBID the truck drivers from unloading their own trucks.
Also, from what I have been told, some companies also FORBID their drivers from loading and unloading their trucks, for both insurance and workman's compensation reasons.
Personally, I think that is wrong, however, there is no way to get around that without the truck driver risking the loss of his or her job.

If I have a signed and clear BOL, and it's just a case of having left one pallet on board, they can shove their union sanctimony where the sun doesn't shine. I have to go.
