Fenders aren't just for looks

Whoever came up with the ignore button was a genius. I don't even know who you guys are not believing ! And that's a Wonderful thing! No more reading stories from people who have to make them up whilst telling them, no more reading about people and all the (UN)informed decisions they (boggle the mind with/) make and how they (clearly DONT) know what they are doing and how they make (NO ####ing) money on all the (cheap) freight they haul (/bootleg) and how you should obviously (NEVER) listen to them.
Life is grand with that ignore button fellas!BoostedTeg, noluck, DDlighttruck and 9 others Thank this. -
Also: bumped while loading...? Bumped By what? Genuinely asking, I never been in a situation that was a consideration.
I also don't currently run a rack....so maybe it's something I just don't encounter?passingthru69, Razororange, bowhunter67 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I use the ignore button often. Its a very useful tool for my own sake. It cleans the forums quite a bit on my end and don't mind if someone used it against me lol.
What is really good is once in a while there is a understanding with someone and Im more than happy to bring them back into the fold by unignoring. It's a joyful occasion. -
No rack for me. Full fenders to keep rocks from opening the rear window.
Man even if I did have one it's not there as a bumper for the crane/forklift. Guys bumps that rack I'd be bumping his head with a pipe.Blue jeans, Old Iron, bowhunter67 and 7 others Thank this. -
I like my drom, hopefully my next one will be.
noluck, Orangees, cnsper and 1 other person Thank this. -
The only real segment of trucking I've spent a lot of time around is logging. A green loaderman can throw logs all over the place. I could imagine a careless equipment operator could swing a piece of pipe or some other heavy object into the back of the cab or something like that.Last edited: Jul 10, 2017

Made a mistake once hauling drilling pipe. Headache rack would have been good.

About tiedowns. When someone says you can never have enough.I was really carrying all of these on my truck and trailer.I don't know how many chains and binders I had.I just kept collecting them over the years.Picture is from 2 years ago when I retired, and had to clean out my trailer to sell it.I sold all the chains and binders to one fellow as a lot.90% of the chains were grade 70 3/8.
