Headache rack on a Mack

    Can you change the mount so that instead of using U bolts you can just bolt it to your frame? Then you could unbolt what’s there and remount it with the mount for the headache rack behind what is currently on the frame, using the same holes.

    There has to be a way to mount the rack. Just slide it all the way up to the exhaust brackets and see what your options are. As has already been said, you can have some brackets welded to the rack to bolt in on if needed.
    We have both a FL and a Pete with the exhaust framework and rack. it looks fine when mounted.

    Here’s the truck I used to drive. The mount was made to fit over the front bracket for the lift axle, could you do something similar only make it fit behind the existing stuff mounted on the frame?
