After all that, your SQT should be a piece of cake! Just don't forget to GOAL, I know they look for that.
    Good luck anyway driver.:biggrin_25525:

GREAT JOB ROADRAID3R! I hope my experience goes as well as yours minus the A/C problems. ;) My week off ends today, so I'm expecting a call any day now to hook up with a TE. I'm guessing I may get another week reprieve if the others in my class are still doubled up with their TE's for Week 2. That's fine with me as there's always work around the house to do. You'll have to PM me your tractor number once you've got one.

Way to go Raider. After finishing orientation this past week at Carlisle, I have an increased respect for you being able to post every night. It was all I could do to keep my brain and all the info from spilling out of my ears. Cograts on finishing the next phase of your training. I start Monday at 11 AM with my TE. Hope I have as good an experience as you have. You are an inspiration. Thanks for the updates. Drive on and be safe.

@dasco, where is your TE at? What route does he/she run?

@PCDoctor I hope you have a good TE like mine. If you read back my TE specifically said he got into training because he was tired of getting "graduates" that could not fill out a log book, back into the spots needed ( for his dedicated account , and did not know much. I was very nervous about that prospect. However, I worked my ##### off for him and SNI, demanded to spend my time driving, doing over 1000 miles in 2 days and took in everything he said. I showed I wanted to learn by asking him questions about driving and equipment I think he maybe had never been asked. Either way, he was tough and stern, and I passed everything he threw out at me. However, he was one of the nicest guys I ever met, and that goes for the majority of people I came into contact with during my training (other drivers from SNI and others hauling out of that DG DC, office people, customers, etc.).

Good Luck to you both. I will let everyone know what happens at SQT. I was thinking that I was home free, but my trainer said the last guy he had...The last guy he had was basically unteachable, but he could not keep him any longer so he sent him to SQT, and he failed. I guess it is still possible that I could not get hired by SNI, by failing the SQT. I was shocked to hear this. I guess they will give you a second chance but if you fail then it is the end of your career at Schneider.

    Thanks of the comments!

Raider, I'll be Walmart dedicated out of Gordonsville, VA. Mostly VA and NC with a little WV and PA thrown in to keep me honest. And I believe I heard somewhere that Bedford DC is responsible for Washington D.C. area. I could have been dreaming or maybe God likes me. Actually, I'm pretty sure He likes me either way and I will do my best, no matter where they send me. On the SQT's....... as I understood it, it's about a 15-20 mile road test, and then a major trip planning test. Must score a 90 or better to pass. 3 chances to pass. If you finished the take home work from your TE packet, you should be well prepared. I won't have any online access after tomorrow morning, so I'll check before I go and then when I get back. Good luck and Hope all goes well. I'm sure it will. You sound pretty sharp.

RoadRaid3r, thanks for the words of wisdom. Still not sure I'm cut out for this major career change but I won't know unless I try. As for your SQT performance, I have no doubt you'll pass the first time through. Good luck!

Congrats Raider. I am sure you will be fine on the SQT performance test. Just reading your posts makes me think you are well prepared. Positive attitude and all your preperations beforehand should make things go really well for you. Good Luck.
