My first day of school was today. We spend part of the morning in the classroom, then out to the range driving around. It went well! Tomorrow all day driving. You're given lots of reading to do in the evening. We were assigned 140 pages to read tonight. Makes for a long day, but have to get through it!
Scott, Yes, I've read from other posts there is a lot of home work to do in the evening. But considering that the course is only three weeks, they do have to cram a lot of stuff in a short period of time. Just have to squeeze in a little of time for sleeping and eating. One thing I like about RDTC compared to other courses I've read about is that they get you in the truck driving on the range from day 1, and out on the road a few days later. If you just started today, then I'll be seeing you around in your last week. I'm in the process of starting my packing and trying to figure out what to bring as far as clothes, what kind of clothes would you say would be appropriate? Right now I'm planning on bringing a couple pairs of Jeans and a couple pairs of Cargo Pants along with half a dozen collared shirts. How is the weather there right now, would a light jacket be OK? Thanks
It's been hot in the truck the last couple days, but the weather is changing bigtime the next couple. It's suppose to get cold, so I'll have to go from a t-shirt to sweatshirt I guess. Just bring clothes for all weather, because it's been crazy lately. It should be ok by the time you get here though. Looks like you've got it covered.
