For me it's local over OTR. But I have a lot of respect for OTR as it's what I did for 4 years. The pay just wasn't there for me. Most I made was 60k in a year and that was hard running back in 2007. Now, I'm Mon to Fri (nights) working 45 hours per week making 75k a year. Good luck at Pride, they seem like a top notch company.

Well...of course not all companies are perfect and Pride is no exception.
My last trip is testament to that.
I still think Pride is a great company and still love working for em.
Just had a rough week due to human and mechanical (lights on trailer) issues.
All said and done, I'm home now.
I usually spend one night out and then home, last run, all 3 nights in a row.
Yes, I know, many drivers spend weeks at a time out, I have done that. -
Pride opened a couple of local driving positions. I accepted one. I hope this works out. This should be pretty good for me to return to school. I am currently keeping my eyes open for an admin position in the company. That would even be better for school purposes.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
This morning Jeff England calls to thank me for my 1 year anniversary returning to Pride.
I think that says something for him to call each person to say thanks on their anniversary.Chinatown Thanks this.
