    Jim,

    As a person that hopes to be heading to Little Rock in January, what suggestions would you have for that person to pack? Thanks for starting this thread, and continued posts as it has helped me to make a decision as which company to join. Like you, I have spent most of my career in management, and am ready for a change. I look forward to meeting you and some of the other guys someday once I get out there.

    Thanks for the kind words!
    I would take enough clean clothes for two weeks. Also a winter coat, work boots, ski cap, sleeping bag, pillow, coveralls... You can get work gloves at the truck stops, plus you will get a pair at orientation.
    I will add more as I think of it...lol

    Got a load pretty quick. I helped two drivers fold their garland and I was off to bennettsville for a load going to archbold ohio. When I got there I found out it was a preload. I told them what needed to.be.welded. I also let Maverick know. I got an old chaparael trailer. Everything worked....so.far..lol
    Made it back to brentle's to.spend the night. My plan today worked.perfectly.
    Drive all day tomorrow and deliver 0700 Friday.
