Though Im IC so I didnt get a message either, the driver I talked to in Ft Smith said all they did was increase tarp pay to $25 for all tarps. He said they didnt say anything about a mileage pay increase. Like I said thats hearsay from another company driver so take it for what thats worth.

The following information comes from this URL:

    MAVERICK ANNOUNCES DRIVER PAY RAISE

Maverick Transportation, LLC announced a pay raise for current and potential drivers, effective April 1st, 2012. The new pay structure makes Maverick one of the first fleets to move on a pay increase in 2012. "Everyone in our industry knows that professional drivers need, and more importantly, deserve higher pay," said Maverick's Chairman and CEO Steve Williams. "We decided to move fast in 2012 in order to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to offer the best compensation plan and the best driving job in the industry."

Under the new plan, Maverick increased tarp pay to $25, more than double the previous amount. "The increase in tarp pay alone will equal a significant pay raise for Maverick drivers," according to Director of Recruiting, Brad Vaughn. Starting pay for flatbed drivers at Maverick will now be $.42 - $.43/mile. An additional lognevity incentive each year, for up to five years, was also announced across the board for all drivers. Finally, students and driver instructors will receive substantial increases in various areas including training pay and mileage incentives.

"A lot of very exciting things are happening for drivers at Maverick," added Vaughn. "We have multiple opportunities in several divisions for professional drivers. These pay raises, an expanded hiring area, a variety of dedicated positions and Maverick's continued reputation as best in class means there has never been a better time to join our fleet."

Maverick will continue to offer weekend home time in most divisions, per diem pay, fuel bonuses, detention pay, referral bonuses, and complete medical benefits.

Based in Little Rock, Arkansas and operating over 1,200 units, Maverick provides OTR and dedicated services to the flatbed, glass, machinery, natural gas and temperature controlled transportation markets throughout North America. To learn more about specific driving opportunities available (I cannot figure out how to include their embedded URL the way it was included in the original).

yep. we have customers down there. give recruiting a call and let them know you're interested. they'll be happy to discuss what options would be available to you. Maverick "tries" to get its drivers home every weekend but as you've read, it doesn't always happen.

home as of yesterday, around 1430 eastern time. 1944 paid miles for the week. Would have been alot earlier but stayed and helped the Maverick's before the long journey from delivery in sw louisville to home in ne louisville.

was nice to see all the maverick drivers helping each other get untarped as reynolds in louisville only unloads one at a time. Attaboys entered via qualcom for those that specifically helped me and a general attaboy also entered for all the drivers that delivered there that morning and into the afternoon while i was there.

With all the other mavericks in the area 9 at reynolds alone and with me having a request to be off saturday (wife working, me babysitting) Maverick did what i thot they would. gave the loads to other's there since i was home already. I got the go home mt and pu russelville, ky sunday pm to sugarland, tx on tuesday.

New student from celina, oh passed all the tests and should be home by now. He assured training he has transportation available to get him to louisville to start his time with his instructor. (rented a car in littlerock to drive home yesterday) Have a great weekend everyone.

Started the US steel dedicated Wednesday so far so good. Averaging about 450 miles a day. It's definitely working out like I hoped it would.
So far been running Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. I'm loaded now for Florence Kentucky for Monday morning.

Picked up My side kit Thursday that it's been 25 years since I pulled one. I never cared much for side kits unless all your hauling his coils and that's all I've been doing on this dedicated. So it might work out okay. Just got a get used to a whole new routine.

Hope everybody has a great weekend, drive safe and enjoy the ride.

All we do is hauling out of US steel. All of their plants in the states that I listed so far. Basically pick up a load deliver then get dispatched to another US steel to pick up another load.
