I am wired so tight when I am looking for a shipper or consignee....I will be sure to watch for it! I should get there a bit before my time. I plan on spending the night there and starting out first thing in the morning.

Well it is off to bed...I am usually in bed by 8:30....so this is a stretch since I got up at 02:30

    Later and thanks!

Shake and Bake. Never got the end of the quarter beep but i hear it was 7.9 for me. Just over $900.00 fuel bonus check (i fish so that's net pay). I believe that was for 24-25k miles for the quarter.

Sarge, Fuel bonus was $129 ran 29,700 for quarter do the math. Should have been 32,000 but lost a week due to breakdown.

Last week, not this week (-: I was bumping against my 70. I let my fleet manager know this and told him I would only have 7.5 hrs to run this day. The next day after running hard all day, I called to let them know my new eta. I was told that the CSR's were trying to figure out why I had not made more progress than I had. I just finished running my 11. I told him, You've got to be kidding, they had no Idea! He said yes they do. They want to know why you took a 13 hour break yesterday. At first it caught me off guard, so I quickly looked at my recap....so I said, Because I could only run 7.5 yrs yesterday....remember....NO I Forgot!

I am home for the week. Yesterday I asked what the procedure would be as I have never taken a week off and was not sure how they did it.
I was told that I would get a load home and then there would be a trailer swap on Saturday.
As the day wore on yesterday, I almost called to find out what the details were going to be. But I thought, no, I am going to see If I am informed of the information.
Last night when I stopped at the end of my 14, I sent a qualcom message to extended services to see if there was a swap/reload set up for today.
They said they had not been informed and that my fleet manager had either forgotten or it was going to happen on Monday. No mind you I am on vacation and told my FM that I would be available on Saturday, but was never asked about Monday.
I told Extended services, that if it was going to be on Monday, they would have to reschedule with the consignee as it was to be there by 10 am on Monday and there is no way it would make it.
I gave them my cell and told them I do not live that far from the Pilot and could come up whenever...
They wanted me to just leave the bills in the tarp box and they would take care of it.
I told them that I want to be there to make sure that I end up with the same equipment that I have now...
So I have not heard anything as of yet, so it may be either tomorrow or Monday.
I could have just said, not my problem and not said anything and waited and seen what would happen. But that is not my style and I did not want Maverick to look bad for any reason.
I am looking forward to a week off. I have been pushing hard since back in December when I went to CDL school!
Have a good one! Keeping it Real and Honest!

Jim, FYI always remind your FM they have around 50 drivers on their board and are very busy on Friday's. Could save both of you a headache.
