I didn’t read through. Please excuse if mentioned already.
Six chains are required. They check. $440 ticket. I know.
Oregon taxes sheet. Bring that in when you buy fuel. Or they’ll charge you 38 cents more a gallon.

From your other posts...sounds like youll go thru Goldendale(sounds like a weird way to go).Maybe not. After Goldendale some 35mph steep turns(more like 25mph,then over bridge of the gods to 84West?Its not that bad there.Yes,expect 4 wheelers to do a "lazy merge out in front of you(cutting your braking distance in 1/2.)Lots of homeless tents by the freeway and weirdos that migrated from the Peoples Republic of California.Everyone is in a Hurry at Rush Hour.Better get Outta there by 2pm(or expect to camp out there). Its Very easy to navigate around.Basically I use 205 and Marine Drive along the Columbia River to make good time.

Don't speed, carry 4 bags of chains 3 are legal 1 is extra. Remember mountain driving techniques. Be safe and return home.
