Headlights during the day........

I'm a late headlight turner-onner. Running lights I'll turn on in the late afternoon but I'm like the opposite of the "landing 747" crowd who needs to have alpha Centauri coming out of the front of their rig.

I used a kit from a company called Web Electric for my car because like most Asian imports, the Camry uses negative switching on the headlamp circuits which makes adding drl kits to the headlamps difficult. Adding the factory kit to a Camry is equally hard because it's not plug and play like a lot of cars are, the fuse and relay spaces are there but the wiring is not present in a car not equipped with daytime running lights from the factory.

Some of the more tech nerd types have mimicked the factory system with their own relays and wiring but that was a bit out of my league so this turn signal system worked out nicely.

I wear my gold chains with my white tank top too.

 

For those who mentioned they run with just park lights on, be aware that in some states it is illegal to drive with park lights on without headlights. In those states that enforce it they mainly stress it just before sunset and just after sunrise and in inclimate weather but it can be enforced 24/7.

 

I thought this used to be the case in IL. I remember being told about it multiple times when I was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

They said, parking lights mean you are parked, not moving.

 

So other ppl can see that big truck coming.

I usually turn mine on at around 7pm
Don't want to replace bulbs ethier.

Same reason I rarely signal in my four wheeler xD
