Last night I saw a guy pull into a rest area and turn on the jakes full blast and they were LOUD. This was about 10:30PM, I'm sure plenty of drivers there were sleeping. Anyway, after a few more accelerations and jaking back down, he leaves. I mean, he must have just come in to make noise? I have no idea. This was just inside Québec. A large 'W' on the trailer (reefer?) and a square nose truck was all I could make out.

LOL.. thats like when I am home.. I'm pumping gas in my pickup.. in behind me comes a kid with his boom system blasting and shaking the mirrors on my truck its so loud. Then he leaves it on while he pumps gas and goes inside to pay for it or what ever. Mind you.. its like 1 or 2 am. No need for all that noise.
Back in my younger days.. knowing he left the key on the be blasting his music like that.. I would have loved to have jumped in and hid it behind a big store somewhere. Being older and fatter.. I'm not into 3 - 4 mile hikes back to my personal vehicle anymore.
I swear I've become such a passafist (spelling?) in my old age. When I was 17 we took a guy and stuffed him in the trunk of his car and drove around all night till we smoked all his weed. Then left his car parked at a sex shop/peepshow place downtown.
HurstCargoWahgo and Dye Guardian Thank this. -
That hilarious, I still wish the teeny smart cars were tough enough to pick up and set on the sidewalk

I only read about half of the posts. I cant believe the number of grown adults that said.....i dont have to be curtious or even think about how i act or treat people. They can deal with my lack if manners......
Wow. I teach my kids to do the right thing because its the right thing to do.Dye Guardian, MACK E-6 and Big_D409 Thank this. -
That's why you NEVER look inside a cab of another truck...it's like peering into someone's open bedroom window.tucker and northernhopper Thank this.

You are assuming that everyone drives a plastic aero megacab truck equipped with curtains. I only use my roll down curtain to block the light coming through the hole when I go to sleep. When I am laying around the truckstop for 3 days waiting on that good paying load I don't sleep for 72 hours. Curtain stays rolled up because I am alert and aware of my surroundings and ready to respond.
And how is anyone going to see my Stars 'n Bars flag on the back wall if the curtain is closed?
It used to be only in the movies people left their headlights on when they parked. Catfish food seat holders can't even turn the key off let alone turn off the lights. I don't care if you leave your lights on just keep your light out of my window. Kinda like cigarette smoke. Go ahead smoke I don't care if you support big tobacco, just keep that garbage out of my lungs. Black spray paint solves the light problem fairly effortlessly. Sandpaper kinda just dims it a bit!
And then there's the language barrier...........Big_D409 Thanks this. -
You know it. We used to hang at a park with gravel lot and it was common courtesy to idle through to keep the dust down. One guy came through a bit to fast for my one buddy's liking and he pulled his pistol and shot at him once. We were 70s white people!Dye Guardian and tucker Thank this.
