That’s basically the same deal I have. Just go to healthcare.gov. Pick a cheap BCBS bronze plan. Make sure it’s for your area, and covers you out of town. Don’t go by the estimates. Call them, the actual amount will be lees than the estimate. They already have your income info. Give them your ss#, and they have last years agi from returns on file. I just checked, mines actually less than $200, for my wife and I. It’s actually a good policy. Just as good as any so called silver. It’s a HMO, I literally picked the cheapest plan, since all the deductibles were the same.Brettj3876 Thanks this.

Obama care limited profit to a %.
Aspirin 10 cents profit is a penny.
Aspirin is a dollar profit is a dime.
Aspirin is 10 dollars profit is a buck.
That is why medical is so high. Obama international did this to make way for a single payer system when Clinton came in. But she didn't, and we are still stuck with the remnants of Obama care.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I'm saying that it is in the insurance companies interest NOT to object to price gouging anymore. A ten dollar aspirin means higher cost and higher premiums and that 10 % going to profit is larger.

I know one thing. If you have good insurance, they’ll test and treat you, right up untill you die. I’ve seen it with an Aunt who was terminal. They air lifted her, for treatment. When it was useless. My mother in law, had surgery, 2 weeks before she died. Though she had a multitude of problems, and didn’t need the trauma. It’s unbelievable, how the Hospitals will milk a dying persons situation for profit. On the other hand, no insurance, they send you home to die. It’s a farce. They gave me an aspirin once, after testing negative for a heart attack, 3 hrs after being admitted. I asked why? They replied, everyone gets an aspirin. My wife says, “ that’s your $100 aspirin. When I got the bill, $63, for the aspirin. Lol. Next time, I’ll bring my own. It’s crazy. It’s wrong.Brettj3876 and Speed_Drums Thank this.

If only you could use it as a tax deduction..

It’s deductible, my wife keeps receipts for everything, I’m not exactly sure, but premiums are figured at a %, out of pocket at a different %.
