Super Pros are folks who have been trucking for 20+ years. First of all, respects!!! Here is the question

Apart from the injuries due to unfortunate accidents, whether on the road or off the road fixing the truck, does driving the truck itself cause health issues? Obviously if you eat junk and never workout and smoke all the time, that is a seperate issue. But if you are active and love your health and eat good food, will trucking cause health issues? Has trucking damaged the body of any of you Super Pros?
    Apprecuate your kind responses.

Did you try back exercizes? Maybe your back is tight. I Would walk, stretch my shoulders, and get a massage every month.

That's the answer to my question. I will stretch, eat veggies and drink lots of water. And will put aside $100 for a back massage every month.
    Thanks

It’s always fun wrestling 400 lb engine crates that are too small for a pallet jack on to pallets so I can move the #### things.

Every truck I own I immediately buy a new seat. All stock seats that come in the trucks I’ve driven basically have 2 rods where your thighs are and padding on top. Doesn’t take long to make my thigh sore and eventually my hip starts to hurt. A new seat that has a more flat design works wonders for me. Other than that, no injuries after 13 years

You won't be doing that anymore if you become a truck driver.

After 20+ years I can feel that I should have at least did more walking on my downtime. And my hands have some arthritis and tend to be stiff when I open them up flat. Could be from all that time holding the steering wheel. Or not. Anyway I have no regrets. Trucking has been good for me.
