I follow the Estes Thread in the Favorite Companies section of the forum. @jtaran06 and @KaoMinerva post a lot in there and both of them said it was good money. One of them said (correct me if I'm wrong) something like $75,000 is what the Estes LTL Linehaul drivers make if you're "lazy" and don't want to work too much, but that if you want to run hard and stay out that $100,000 is easily attainable.

LTL Linehaul looks to be where it's at. You don't destroy your body and can make really good money.

I work 5 days a week, M-F, start time 10am off around 8-9ish pm. Winter can have some 12-14 hr days. I pulled in 97k without working extra. 95k the year before. Check stubs to prove it. Should hit 100k this year without working extra. Another raise this July possibly. .705 cpm right now. I work for a competitor. If you want to make money LTL Linehaul is where it’s at. OD is the cream of the crop so yeah 99k is pretty easy to hit there. But all the other LTL’s have to pay well to keep competitive with each other.

Thanks to this forum I found the LTL field and where’s the money at back in 2012. Knew nothing about the pay and wish I found this 5 years prior to 2012.

Thanks all, well, that sure is an eye opener for me. I never thought a job driving a truck would yield that kind of money, heck, I'd probably drive a truck for half that today. I'd have to think you'll give half that $100g's to Uncle Sam,,,no?

    Radman Thanks this.

I made $131,700 last year at OD and I'm a solo home daily linehaul driver.

I work for a smaller outfit here in the PNW. What @Radman said is exactly true, they gotta keep up with the big boys pay. I used to work for SAIA and I’m much happier here and make the same.
I think OD is up to something big. Maybe their getting ready to snatch up most of those premium freight from UPSF.

Do LTL drivers do lumper work or have to unload or its no touch freight? A disgruntled ITR reefer driver here who's had their truck in the shop over 8 days now and getting upset...looking to have backups I'm based out of Florida Ocala Orlando Jacksonville are 1 hour out from me...spoke to R&L over a year ago

I'm linehaul and I never see a shipper, reciever or inside the trailers. I do meet and turns or terminal to terminal with 100% drop and hook. The P&D drivers are the ones that pick up and deliver to the customers. This will require some lumping.
