Didn't mean to knock you, it's just that most who got a CDL without a school seem to have done it long ago.

Can it be done -- Yes. Can it be a problem later on -- Maybe. Without that all important paperwork from a real school training program maybe you will have difficulty in finding future employment or maybe not.
    .
I strongly suggest that you keep for your permanent records each and every scrap of paper that proves your current employment. Every pay stub and anything else that is available to you. Stop at the dollar store and get a box of freezer storage bags if you must, but keep every single record that comes your way. If you ever need proof you got it. If you never need proof -- no problem.
    .
Look I hope everything goes well for you. I really do. But, If they go out of business how will you prove that you got trained and have road experience? Think about it.
    .
One last thing if I may. Get the CDL manual from the motor vehicle department of your state. Read it, study it and know it. Know the correct procedure for driving down a steep mountain grade. Know the "Snub Braking Technique". Know the proper way to do an air brake test of your vehicle. The official CDL manual for your state is the most up to date information that you will readily find and it costs you nothing to obtain. What was valid 20 years ago may have changed based upon the newest testing methods.
    .
    Be safe out there.
