Well my time at Heartland came to an end last week. I felt as if i was treated with disrespect by some dispachers and a few in the Jax terminal treated me very well and wished me the best in what i plan for next. With that being said... There safty department, night dispatch, and other departments have NO idea what there doing. My 9 year old daughter could do there jobs. Safty has decided to put a hold on my last check for claming i didnt turn in logs that i have turned in and know i transflowed them... But there stubbern like a 16 year old that knows everything. There trucks are slow as hell. I never thought id see the day Swift would blow my doors off lol. There idle rules with there temp settings at 72 the truck will shut its self down. Guess Heartland doesnt relise that 72 out side still = its hot as hell inside, but thay dont care. I fell that my time there was a waste and cost me more money then what i made there.
Save your self the pain... Dont go to work for them. Thay suck!!!![]()

They don't call them Heartless Express for nothing, lol.
All I can say is, get out of these mega's as fast as you can if you are a new driver. If you are experienced, don't go in the first place. What's funny is, the suckier they are, the more they do DAC and they still have an endless supply of drivers. I would think they would have to really lower their standards to get anyone to drive for them in the first place. -
mercy me, so much hate and discontent...bg

wow..how long did it take you to gather all this ueful information?..it never ceases to amaze me how many experts there are on someone elses job..apparently you did not do your homework,Heartland isbg probably the only outfit on the road that will hire anyone who can walk and talk..they are the bottom of the barrel....

Perhaps you could enlighten us on your qualifications.
Armchair quarterback perhaps?
Klown wasn't the first, nor will he be the last to walk into a bad situation.
Hopefully he will move on to something better.
You are not the only one Klown. Heartland charged me $1.00 per mile trailer recovery fee when I broke my lease in '98.
They claimed I didn't return trailer to nearest terminal.
