I guess it depends on where you live? There IS a driver shortage in the south,and a lot of major trucking lanes.If your off the beaten path,then maybe not.
I put my resume out on a few job sites,and have gotten tons of replys .
Its a drivers choice if your record is clean.Just my 2 cents

 

I'm not saying there was,but I wasn't just talking about the trucking industry,as there are other industries in the country that are experiencing the same issues keeping good employees as well.

The answer is in my post. Freight rates are not "set" since Carter's derugulation.

 

Damage control is what he was here for and he wasn't even close to good at it.

 

These Mega carriers turnover rates are self-inflicted for the most part... a real good driver is not going to turn around and put up with smoke being blown up there behind so to speak...
