HeartLand Express Unaccountability

Heartland sucks....
And that is my professional opinion ...

 

Was there ever a time when Heartland Express did have a decent reputation?
If so, how long ago was it that the company changed to the current reputation that it now has?

It used to be a decent company to work for before the current CEO took over control when his father died. Or so it was according to the old timers still working there when I did. Many of them with 10+ years with Heartland where quitting in droves when I was there.

 

They would still be in business whatever the recruiters said. They have a high CPM pay scale that makes drivers think they will be making more money, and that's supposed to make the other BS from Heartland tolerable.
They find out soon enough it doesn't.

 

What sort of higher pay scale do they boast? What's the com?

 

When I was driving for them several year's ago I was making 50 cpm plus an extra 4 cpm they call Green Miles when your in the Northeast. I don't know what their pay scale is now.

 

Fartland is another lying cheap ### mega...

Sorry Rob but I believe we are all pretty much over Heartland now. For me and most drivers I know in this industry you have become irrelevant.
